Leaving couldnt wait to get out of the dump
This should never be classed as a hotel it reallty is a filthy dump, we were desperate for a late room but next time I would take a tent a camp on Hyde park dont go there unless you can do less than basic, tiny cramped room toilet shower and basin all in one tiny cupboard one glass and one jam jar to drink from both filthy no quilts blankets !! no water thro the hot tap or shower.Should have realised how bad it was going to be by the sign that greets you :cancelation policy no refunds unless cancelled 2 days befor stay! Trust me you have got to be really desperate to even consider staying here! Smelly place where your feet stick to the carpets.

This great budget hotel had family atmosphere. We loved suite provided with the bedroom, drinks, as example.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very unhelpful.

The room was clean, but the bathroom facilities could be greatly improved.

The hotel is a really chip structure, dirty and not confortable at all ... over priced for what offer. I can't tell anything positive.
Room was very dirty, fully packed with beds (was a family room for 6) wtih no space to move inside. At arrival very cold, bathroom was a "telephone box". Approx 15 min. walk to next Metro Station.

The staff were friendly and helpful, if you are just looking for a bed for the night and somewhere very basic, this although dated is clean and friendly.
The tv didn't work and the bed was not the most comfortable, I had a family (3 person) as the only room left, would suite couple with small child but anything else would be very cramped.

The hotel offers a quaint atmosphere with accommodating staff. There were cleanliness issues, particularly in the bathroom, which could use significant improvement. Breakfast options were limited, with only toast and cereal available. Nonetheless, it can serve well for a short stay if you prioritize service over luxury.

Leaving
Not given room booked on web. Very poor for space, cleanliness and safety. Bedding stained. Very small bathroom/shower, like a caravan! No lift, all stairs. No fire escape.TV Didn't work so could not check weather forecast etc. Powdered milk for tea in rooms only. Bedside lights not working.

The location was ideal for my uses as it was within 5-10mins walking distance of Kings Cross station and 10-15mins from London Euston.
Road noise was exceptionally loud so sleep was difficult without earplugs. The bathroom was very small as the toilet extended into the shower area. The toilet could only be used with the door open.

Location was good, 5 minute walk from tube station. That's about it for good points though.
Very very basic, noisy at night, basic breakfast, tiny bathroom similar to a caravan, no hot water in evening and we were not told about this.

The staff were helpful and it was easy to get around the premises.
The stairs to the rooms on the top floor are narrow and steep, not recommended if one is not sober.
